However, there are different settings on your bread machine’s control panel for different types of breads. So choose the one depending on the kind of bread you are making.

- 1 ¼ cups warm water
- 2 tablespoon margarine or butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- 3 ¼ cups bread flour
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 ½ teaspoon yeast
- ½ cup dried blueberries/raisins/cranberries/cherries
Open the bread maker and pour in 1 ¼ cups of warm water, then add 2 tablespoon margarine or butter accompanied with 3 ¼ cups of bread flour. There are certain recipes that do not require bread flour and can be easily made with simple or regular flour. Next, add ¼ cup of sugar, ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 ½ teaspoon of salt, 3 ½ teaspoon of yeast and ½ cup dried blueberries (you can use raisins/cranberries/cherries instead). You can also increase the amount of blueberries according to your taste and preference.
Once all the ingredients are in the bread maker, it is time to select the settings. For this particular recipe, choose the sweet setting for a “1.5 pounds” loaf of bread with a ‘light’ setting. Make this selection from the monitor on the control panel. The breadmaker will then display how long it would take for the bread to be made. This particular recipe would be done in approximately 3 ½ hours.
After the time is up, open the lid and carefully take the bread out of the bread maker with the help of a pot holder so that you don’t burn yourself. Lift the handle up take the pan out of the breadmaker. There might be an indentation at the bottom of the bread but that happens and is nothing to be worried about. Take the bread out of the breadmaker pan and let it cool. Your bread is now ready to be sliced and served. Once you have mastered the basic bread, you can go on and try some more amazing recipes!
